WEDDING VENUE INNISFIL

About the Glass Manor

Bill and Diana Robinson purchased Cookstown Antique Market (CAM) from Bill’s parents in June 2017, to carry on this family tradition. Bill’s parents founded CAM in May 1991 and worked diligently for many years to put it “on the map,” as a destination in Innisfil.

Today, Bill and Diana have decided to take the original CAM room in a new creative direction, by offering a stunning space for intimate event celebrations in a warm and elegant space. Our event space has about 1000 square feet which can fit 50 people comfortably.

The Glass Manor Venue

The title of our event space, ‘Glass Manor,’ comes from the family that originally built the home on this property, Mr. Ruben Glass. The home was built in approximately 1905. Mr. Glass was a Cattle Drover and a highly respected business man within the community. He lived in the home with his wife Mrs. Dickson Glass and their four children, Margaret, Helen, Louise and Arthur. Shortly after Bill and Diana purchase the property they were contacted by Mrs. Marilyn Helcoe (nee Glass), the granddaughter of Mr. Ruben Glass with an offer to purchase the original dining room table that was used by Ruben and his family. Although they had no idea what to do with this special table, they knew they had to have it and purchased it. This gorgeous table is in its original condition, has six leaves that sets the table at a commendable 10 foot length.
