Tucked away in the heart of Simcoe County; The Glass Manor is a romantic, vintage-inspired micro venue designed for couples who are looking for a simple, meaningful and joyful wedding experience without the overwhelm of a traditional large-scale event.
We specialize in intimate weddings and gatherings where every detail feels personal. Outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours unfold in our handcrafted courtyard, followed by dinner and dancing inside our warm and romantic indoor reception space. Guests can even wander through our sister company, The Cookstown Antique Market, during cocktail hour. This one-of-a-kind added experience offers unforgettable photo opportunities among the vintage treasures. For full day weddings, we guide you through vendor referrals, virtual planning sessions, and day-of coordination so you can simply show up ready to be present and truly experience your wedding day.
While weddings are at the heart of what we do, The Glass Manor also welcomes other meaningful celebrations — from baby and bridal showers to milestone birthdays, corporate retreats, and private dinners. Our character-filled spaces are designed to make any gathering feel special. Whether it’s a wedding or a life celebration, we help you rediscover the beauty of simplicity — proving that connection, laughter, and love are truly all you need for an unforgettable event.

'Glass Manor,’ is an ode to the family that originally built the yellow home on this property, Mr. Ruben Glass. The home (built in approximately 1905) is where Ruben lived with his wife Mrs. Dickson Glass and their four children, Margaret, Helen, Louise and Arthur.Today, the Glass Manor reception space operates in the original building of the Cookstown Antique Market which our owners, Bill and Diana purchased (from Bill's parents) in 2017. A lot of hard work and love was put into this building and our outdoor courtyard, to create the perfect space for intimate event celebrations.
